Mr Nasir Kausar is the co-founder and ex-CEO of Infinity Partners Pte Ltd. He has over twenty years of experience in global corporate and investment banking with major financial institutions, such as Citigroup, in London and in Singapore. During his banking career, he worked on project finance, corporate finance, debt capital markets, and syndicated transactions. Over the past ten years, he has specialized in private wealth management products and services for ultra HNW Asian and Middle eastern clients as Senior Relationship Manager, Team Head, Country Head, and Managing Director, Region Head for Southeast Asia at a Swiss boutique bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Italian Literature and an MBA in International Finance from the US.
Mr Alam has over thirty years of experience in investment banking encompassing Relationship banking, Origination, Sales, Trading and Asset management. He held several leadership responsibilities which include leading a team of up to 300 employees in London and was a key member of the Top Executive Group of ABN AMRO and RBS for several years. He has transactional experience across full range of investors: Sovereigns, Corporates, Institutional, Private Wealth and Retail. Mr Alam also have diverse experience across geographies and divisions as he worked in London, the Middle East, Hong Kong and Singapore in Fixed Income, Equities and Asset management. He holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Physics.
Mr Alam has set up an Islamic Fund and an Asset management company based in Mauritius as a Managing Director. The fund is Shariah based with a mandate to invest globally in Multi assets with an objective to achieve returns in excess of 8 percent.
From 2006 to 2010, Amy was the Chief Executive Officer of the DBS Bank in Hong Kong and concurrently the Chairman of DBS Asset Management and head of Private Banking. Prior to joining DBS, she spent 10 years at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority as the Executive Director (Reserves Management) responsible for investing the Exchange Fund of Hong Kong. From 1978 to 1996, Amy held progressively more senior positions at JP Morgan, NM Rothschilds and Citibank Privatebank. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University (1974) and holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, Harvard University (1978).
Sajjad A. Akhtar
Mr Akhtar was formerly a Senior Partner of Arthur Andersen, Singapore and worked with the firm for 27 years. He has extensive attest and consulting experience with clients ranging from large multinationals to small and medium growing enterprises operating in a diverse range of industries. At Andersen he was a member of the Firm’s international panel of experts on International Accounting Standards and for several years headed the Professional Standards Group in Singapore. Mr Akhtar has significant experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring services having been appointed to several high profile assignments over the years. He has successfully advised businesses on recovery strategies involving a combination of asset sales, divestments and restructuring of debt and equity so as to reconstruct balance sheets of businesses resulting in viable going concerns.
Mr Akhtar is the Managing Partner of PKF- CAP LLP since July 2007. PKF-CAP LLP was formed by a merger between Pannell Kerr Forster LLP and Cap Partnership thereby bringing together the combined resources of two firms in Singapore. He is also appointed to the International Board of PKF International Limited (Incorporated in England) and chairman of the Asia Pacific board.
